- You must apply as a team, and be accepted to participate.
- The deadline to apply is September 15.
- Teams must consist of a minimum of 2 members and a maximum of 4 members.
- Teams must only include registered participants who are not organizers, volunteers, judges, sponsors, or in any privileged position at the event.
- All team members must be present at the event, but they can leave the venue for some time to work on their projects elsewhere.
- Teams are allowed to use an idea they had before the event.
- Teams can work on ideas that have already been done.
- Teams can work on an idea they have worked on before.
- Teams can add new features to existing projects, but judges will only consider new functionality introduced, or new features added during the hackathon in determining the winners.
- Teams can use libraries, frameworks, or open-source code in their projects.
- Using previously developed code and open-sourcing it solely for using it during the event is not allowed.
- At least 40% of the project's codebase must be original (not generated by AI, not built using open sourced or code written before the hackathon.
- Teams must stop hacking once the time is up, but they are allowed to debug and make small fixes to their programs after the time is up.
